Curricular Changes to Majors and Minors Approval Form
New Major or Minor Approval Form
DEADLINES:
Deadlines for course changes affecting the Schedule of Classes*
(must be received by the Provost and Vice President's Office by the following dates):
Fall - September 30 of the preceding fall
Spring - March 31 of the preceding spring
Summer - September 30 of the preceding fall
*Changes to course titles, numbers, prerequisites & co-requisites, credit hours, grading methods, LSP designation, General Honors status, schedule type, and any new courses.
REGULATIONS:
The Undergraduate Council is the designated body for
University-wide curricular issues. Therefore, the Undergraduate Council
must approve: 1) anything regarding the Liberal Studies Program, including new
classes proposed for the LSP or designating existing classes as approved for the
LSP; 2) anything regarding the General Honors Program; 3) anything regarding
interdisciplinary minors; 4) anything regarding the Interdisciplinary Major.
Changes to courses or major programs that fall exclusively under one major and that have no LSP attributes need not go through the Undergraduate Council.
